If you were at the Africa Events Summit this September, you probably noticed the flowers before you noticed anything else. The entrance arrangement at the Argyle Grand Hotel, the stage podium, every centerpiece at the Gala Dinner, all of it was handled by Blooms & Gifts, who came on as our floral partner for both days of the summit.
We wanted to take a moment to say thank you, and give them a bit of a spotlight for the work.

What they actually did at AES 2026
Blooms & Gifts built and placed every floral arrangement across the two days, from the welcome display that greeted delegates as they walked in, to the podium on the conference stage, through to the Gala Dinner that closed the summit. For the Gala, they put together wreaths of blush and lavender roses, eucalyptus and gypsophila, built around AES’s own light-up markers, so the branding still came through once the lights went down for the evening.
It’s the kind of detail most guests don’t consciously register, but it’s exactly the kind of work that makes a room feel considered rather than just decorated.

Why we’re glad they were on board
Billion Events brought in a full lineup of partners to pull AES 2026 together, and floral design is one of those pieces that’s easy to underestimate until it’s missing. Blooms & Gifts handled it with a level of consistency that held from the entrance all the way to the gala floor, not an easy thing to pull off across two full days of programming.
We’re glad to have had them as part of the AES family this year, and we’d happily work with them again.
If you want to see more of what they put together, including the after-dark shots of the lit centerpieces, their own write-up on the summit is here: bloomsandgifts.co.ke/pages/africa-events-summit-2026.
Blooms & Gifts was the floral design and styling partner for the Africa Events Summit 2026, held 10–11 September at the Argyle Grand Hotel, Nairobi, organised by Billion Events EA.
